The Rev. Canon Paul S. Hunt, Rector

Before coming to Holy Trinity Paul lived in the area of Pompton Plains, NJ for seventeen years. After graduating from CDSP in 1988, his first parish call was to St. Christopher’s in Chatham, MA. From there he became the rector of St. Andrew’s Lincoln Park, NJ. In 1999 the bishop Coadjutor of Newark called him to serve as Canon to the Ordinary for the Diocese of Newark in which capacity he served until 2005. He then served two congregations as interim until being called to Holy Trinity in the spring of 2008. He has been married to his wife, Jeni, since 1983. Jeni works full time as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant in Mickleton, New Jersey. He has three children Ryan, Jessica and Stuart .

The Rev. Thomas W. Platt, Associate Rector Emeritus

Fr. Tom Platt and his family came to West Chester in the summer of 1968, where he had been hired to teach philosophy at what was then West Chester State College. He had earned a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania, an S.T.B. from Philadelphia Divinity School, and he was ordained an Episcopal priest on December 30, 1967. In Advent of 1968 Bp. Dewitt asked Tom to serve as a supply priest at Holy Trinity. In 1971, the new Rector, William Fischler, asked Tom to join the staff of Holy Trinity as a part-time Associate Rector. Tom served in that capacity until he retired in 2002. He continues to be active in the parish as a Co-mentor of Education for Ministry and as Associate Rector Emeritus, assisting the regular staff as needed. He retired from West Chester University in 2005, where he is Professor Emeritus. Tom and Pat have three children, Susan, Mark and Andrew, and 6 grandchildren.
